Are you an Overthinker?

Overthinking is totally me.

I’m currently halfway through my UI/UX Design course and finding it hard to balance with my job, which pays for this course. I’ve been overthinking how to balance work, life, fitness and I almost dropped the course midway as I was overthinking too much.

Previously, I overthought about my ability and what my career path would look like and got anxious and almost didn’t begin.

We often don’t know the precise path to take and so we convince ourselves that as we don’t know what our end game is, we should wait to figure it out.

The truth is starting is better than waiting and forever researching on Google.

Done is better than perfect.

You may also have a dream to do a course, restart your post-grad studies or take up a new hobby. But you may also not know where this will lead. And this can cause too much overthinking. Stop waiting and just go for it! You will know if it’s the right path and if it isn’t then you’ve still learned something.

What are you going to start?
