The words that light people up
I was taken to business lunch today by someone who is so positive and generous with uplifting words. He said the most kind and warm things to me about me and my work and I got back to work feeling like a super woman!
Do I need to say that my next meeting went amazing after?
This example proves that authentic attention has tremendous value as long as it’s truly genuine and it definitely makes you more likable.
And it also shows that our words hold power — both good and bad. So why not say the good ones?!
The way he made me feel with his words and attention made me even more motivated to stick with my idea to always lift others and make them feel special and extraordinary!
And the last thing before I go, just in case no one told you today:
You are special. You are worthy of love, from others and most importantly from yourself. You are needed in this world, and nothing would be the same if you weren’t in it. No one could ever fill your spot, and you are enough. Just like you are.
I care so much about you, and will always hope that you win. And then win again!
