How to deal with online Hate
I have done a little experiment multiple times when I’ve received hate messages. I have decided to answer with love and tell that everything will be alright but this isn’t the path to walk to achieve that. But every single time the human responded back to me with anger.
I don’t have evidence for this but I think the person who writes hate messages is going through something very dark right now, that he or she is in a bad place and struggling the most himself or herself.
Because I can’t imagine the happy, confident people that I know of spending even a second trying to bring someone else down.
We don’t need to.
So my advice is, if possible, not to read the whole message, if you early can see that it’s full of hate.
Read 3 words then delete it right away.
Don’t respond to it.
Because we forgot about this faster the faster we delete it.
And try to change your feelings towards them from deeply dislike what they do to pity them.
No person who does those kind of things will go to bed content with their day. You on the other hand, you have that comfortable pillow at night called “I try my best being a good human — to myself and those around me.”
