If we are not constantly learning something new, unlearning what was effective in the past but is no longer relevant, and relearning something old, we are getting stuck in outdated thinking and practices that no longer work.
That is why I believe that the most important skill to acquire is remaining teachable. And this isn’t just my opinion, people who are more teachable are actually statistically more successful.
All that it takes from you is to be open to change, open to growth, open to that learning. Admit that you don’t know something and ask for help. Display a willingness to learn and improve. And you will find yourself happier and more successful!
Say yes to life and new beginnings constantly!
And honestly, getting too comfortable is my greatest nightmare in life. Why? No growth happens there. So I don’t let comfort get to me.
Ask yourself, “Am I keeping an open mind? Am I really teachable?” And if you don’t feel like commenting. Write it down in your journal, phone, or just mentally.
